Weekend Yoga & Meditation Retreat
at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 23rd, 24th & 25th
Space is limited.

Spend three days and two nights at the White Lotus Foundation, located in the San Marcos Pass overlooking the town of Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean. The Foundation's 40-acres of land was once occupied by the Chumash Indians, who called it Taklushmon or “The Gathering Place.”

The retreat will take place in spring, the time of warmth, new life and rejuvenation. Spring is the season of fertility and rebirth, making this weekend the perfect time to explore our desires, dreams and creative energy.

We will enjoy daily yoga classes, movement and meditation classes, and wholesome vegetarian cuisine throughout the weekend.

Your accommodations include one of six yurts, which are dome-like structures with doors, windows, wood floors, electricity and heating. Yurts combine the joys of natural living with the comforts of being indoors. Each yurt accommodates 4 or 5 people.

You may also choose to stay in the Library loft, located in the main building, or if you enjoy stargazing, you can camp out on the deck above the yoga studio. Futons, comforters, pillows and bedding are provided. The main building has three bathrooms, two with showers. There are also two modern and clean, outside shower rooms a short walk from the yurts.

To fully experience the natural setting, you may enjoy a shower in the newly constructed outdoor stone shower nestled in the hillside near the yerts.

Cost of the retreat is $280 which includes accommodation, gourmet vegetarian food, planned group activities, yoga and meditation classes. Other activities include hiking, swimming in the natural pools, soaking in the hot tub, or lounging on the sun deck overlooking the canyons and ocean.

Massage will be available with Cherry Simkins, CMT. If you are interested please page Cherry at 310-572-5728 for information and bookings.
